Spotted a tigress with two cubs in Bijrani zone on day 2! Our naturalist Vikram was incredible — he found the tracks before dawn and positioned us perfectly. The Dhikala grasslands are unlike anything I've ever seen. This trip was a life-changer.
Went as a bird photography enthusiast and came back completely hooked. Saw 78 species in just 2 days! The lodge was peaceful and the food was surprisingly great. MilesNPeople handled every permit flawlessly — zero stress.
Corbett has excellent tiger sighting rates. With 2–3 safari zones over 2 days, sighting probability is high. Our naturalists know the best zones and times. Dawn safaris in Bijrani or Bijrani zones are most productive. Historical guest sighting rate is ~72%. We never guarantee sightings — wildlife is wild — but we maximise every chance.
Corbett is open Oct 15 – Jun 15. The Dhikala zone is closed during monsoon (Jul–Oct). Best months: November–March for winter wildlife viewing, April–May for highest sighting rates (animals congregate near water). June is hot but sightings are excellent. January–February is coldest — pack warm layers.
Absolutely! Children above 5 years are allowed on jeep safaris. The experience is educational and exciting for kids. Open-top jeeps are safe — you stay inside vehicles at all times. Our naturalists are great with young travellers, making wildlife spotting interactive and fun.
A 300mm+ telephoto lens is ideal for tigers and leopards. For birds, 400–600mm is recommended. Bring a camera with fast burst mode. Mornings can be dark under canopy — wide aperture lenses (f/4 or f/5.6) help. A monopod is useful in jeeps. Video cameras are allowed but there's an extra fee at the park gate (~₹500).
