This is Rajasthan at its most raw and adventurous. Jodhpur — the Blue City — with its imposing Mehrangarh rising 400 feet over blue-washed lanes and bazaars. Then Jaisalmer — the golden sandstone mirage in the Thar Desert — with its living fort, ornate havelis, and the vast, silent dunes beyond.
The journey culminates at Sam Sand Dunes with an overnight luxury desert camp — camel ride at sunset, bonfire under an ocean of stars, folk music and a night you will carry with you forever. With only 14 guests, this is an intimate adventure — not a package tour.

I've travelled a lot, but nothing prepared me for the desert camp night. Riding a camel into the sunset dunes and then waking up to the most silent, star-filled sky I've ever seen — that was pure magic. Mehrangarh Fort the day before was equally jaw-dropping. This tour earns every rupee.
The Blue City walk in Jodhpur was something else — those cobalt-blue lanes, the sounds of daily life, the smell of spices and the fort looming above. Our guide was phenomenal and knew every story. The Kuldhara ghost village visit was equally eerie and fascinating. Total adventure package — loved every moment.
It's luxury glamping — not roughing it. Tents have proper beds, attached bathrooms, electricity and fans. The magic is outside: bonfire, folk musicians, and the vast starlit Thar sky. An upgrade to a premium Swiss tent is available on request (supplement applies). Most travellers say this is the single best night of the tour.
The camel trek is a leisurely 1.5-hour ride into the dunes — no fitness requirement. Our handlers are experienced and will help you mount and dismount safely. If you prefer not to ride, you can walk alongside the group or take a jeep to a viewing point instead.
The old city of Jodhpur, especially the Brahmpuri area near Mehrangarh Fort, has thousands of houses painted vivid indigo blue. The tradition dates back centuries — Brahmins painted their homes blue to signify status; later it spread for practical reasons (the colour deters insects and keeps homes cool). Today it makes Jodhpur the most photogenic city in India.
Yes — that's actually the ideal routing for this tour. Fly into Jodhpur (JDH) and fly out of Jaisalmer (JSA). Both airports have good connections to Delhi and Mumbai. Our team can help plan your flights and will arrange all airport transfers. Alternatively, the Jaisalmer rail connection is also excellent.
Absolutely — it's actually one of our best introductions to Rajasthan's desert character. If you want a full royal circuit, consider our 10-day Rajasthan Grand Tour (which includes Jaipur and Udaipur as well). For those who want raw Rajasthan adventure concentrated into 7 days, this is the tour.
